Dreaming of editing overseas
Last weekend, I had a dream where I was working for both CBS46 and CNN at the same time.
It started when I was at CBS46. I was supposed to edit a story package for that station, but my boss whisked me away from my edit bay into another room. Before I knew it, I was transported to Islamabad, Pakistan. That led me to work on another story for CNN.
I was supposd to edit a package for the Cable News Network. Insted, I wandered in and out of my edit bay. After that, I walked outside on the streets of Islamabad and I didn't believe what I found on the ground. I found some flyers for KFMB-TV Channel 8 with some event I don't remember. I saw the 1980's News Ei8ht logo. Google it if you don't know what that is.
I was approaching my deadline to complete the edit on the package. I was way behind and way short in achieving my goal for the assignment. When I went back into my edit bay, I saw all of the machines were turned off and I could not get back to work. I panicked. Something hit me in the end of my dream.
In reality: I woke up. I have never traveled overseas (unless you count Cozumel and the Bahamas). I realized that I didn't have my parking pass for Sunday's Def Leppard/Journey/The Pretenders concert. Thankully that issue got resolved in time for the show.
I will watch KFMB on cbs8.com again, I still work for CBS46, and I don't think I'll go back to CNN again.

Dreaming of Winnipeg and Las Vegas
Last Week, I had a dream where I was with an old friend of mine up in Winnipeg. I was up there for some reason, and I don't know what it was.
It was snowing outside and it was night time when it was happening. I was listening to some hockey game and I was getting ready for my next adventure.
My next adventure was to take me to Las Vegas. I remember that I had to get there by car. I didn't know how I was going to get there in such bad weather.
I don't remember if I was going to take my friend with me. I was getting excited about going to Vegas for the first time in a long time.
In reality: I woke up. I've never been to Winnipeg, Manitoba. I haven't been to Las Vegas in more than 10 years. I saw some of the NHL's Western Conference Finals between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Winnipeg Jets on TV.
I hope to reconnect with my friend Steve sometime down the road. I have at least 3 friends named Steve.
