First of all, it's been a while since I've posted here. Life got in the way, I was in the middle of buying one house and selling my old one. I was moving, working the AM shift, trying to recover from long days. Too long to not do this again. At least I'm getting my typing skills back again.
Overnight, I dreamed that I was inside a combination bowling alley/Phoenix Coyotes hockey rink. I was in an indoor setting pre-pandemic. I had this dream where I was a videographer for the Coyotes one minute and watching someone else do it the next minute.
Along the way, I saw Mike's brother Joe in my dream. I was dreaming about working in sports again. For the time I was in my dream, I was feeling good about myself and that I was taking control of my career again.
In that same dream, I was admiring the purple Coyotes jerseys and the Purple and gold center ice logo I was staring into. Even if it was only in my dreams, I was watching someone that resembled ice hockey again.
I woke up at 12:21am this morning. I finally sold my old home. I woke up with a new energy and my newfound burst of energy (along with a lighter than usual workload) carried me through the 6am hour.
It's funny that even though I was feeling good, I decided to take some time and get more coffee before editing the 6am show open here at CBS46.
I have a couple more hours to work and then I'll take my well deserved nap.
