Dreaming of the Superdome and WSB-TV 2
Earlier this week, I had a pair of dreams that seemed to run into each other, or at least go back-to-back as I was asleep early in the morning.
The first part of my dream took me inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. That was where I saw a major league baseball game be played between two undetermined teams. As I was sitting in the upper deck of the dome, one of the advertising signs also acted as a window to the outside of the building. I believe it was an ALTIODS sign that acted as a window to see daylight on the outside.
IN REALITY: I've never seen a game inside the SUPERDOME nor have I ever been to New Orleans.
The second part of my dream was where I was hanging out with WSB-TV's Jovita Moore. I believe it was inside the superdome. I also believe that I saw night light from wher eI was standing. We were chatting just like we were old pals an everything. I don't remember what we were talking about, but I'm sure it was a pleasant conversation.
IN REALITY: I've never met Moore nor have I ever worked for WSB-TV. I interviewed for an editing job there more than four years ago. I might have dreams of working over there one day. I don't know if my dream was a sign that I should be working there one day. Right now, I'm in a good place here at WGCL-CBS46. I dream of nothing but good things for my family.

Journal Entry for the week in review for August 8-14, 2016
This past week, I completed my first full week of writing stories and learning how to produce for the 11PM news for CBS46. I hope to continue this string of success in the weeks ahead. My goal is to show my fellow writers and producers that I'm improving steadily on a daily basis.
Most of the day that I was home, I played with Ben both inside and outside. Here's Ben playing with Legos. I'm building things and Ben is destroying them. It's a game that he and I play. I let Ben win.
When Ben, Blake, and I play outside, I let Ben play with the hose and water the garden and some of the backyard. I love to splash the water with the guys on their water table out in the backyard. I will even let the guys splash me from time to time. They scare me with bits of water coming right at me. Ben will get me in small buckets while Blake will splash me with toys.
I hate leaving the guys at work, but I know that I'm doing something good for them. This night will mark the sixth night of writing for the CBS46 11PM News.
TUESDAY was play LEGOs with Ben in his diaper day. I love building towers with him. Actually, he likes to tear mine down and he can build one for himself.
Work was OK again tonight. I wrote for the 7th consecutive night.
WEDNESDAY was more arts and crafts time at home. My boys know how to draw and play with markers. They're better at being messy than they are at artwork. That's OK though. I love them a lot.
THURSDAY was a fun day too. So was Friday. I spent time with the guys before I had to go to work. I wrote for the ninth and tenth consecutive days at work respectively. Monday will be a challenge as I get ready for jury duty at the Cobb County Superior Court.

Boys in a Box |
The above pictures show me how much fun they had with me (and the last two...maybe not so much). I love them more than you know.
The above pictures show me and my boys having fun at McDonald's on Saturday.
The remaining pictures above show the boys having a lot of fun on Sunday. This is the final day that I've ever lived without ever serving on a jury. In the back of my mind, I was scared about serving on a jury. For whatever reason, I worried that I wasn't going to be smart enough to serve on a panel like that.
I tried to distract myself from whatever was bothering me by chasing my boys around in the back yard and in the living room. By the time they were in bed, I tried to relax by watching my Sunday staples on TV: "$100,000 Pryamid" and "Match Game." I was too wound up and worried that I was going to oversleep and miss my assignment, so I slept during the game shows and went to bed early that night.
I could only dream about good things and hope that my jury service would go smoothly.
