I woke up in plenty of time to take Ben to preschool this morning. I got a bid of extra time to sleep in order to make up for the time I lost in staying up late. Ben and I had some bonding time in the ROGUE and some time listening to talk radio before he went off to school. Got home and got to play with Blake quite a bit. I got to see Baby Blake take a few steps once again and he got to be quite fast in crawling.
I got to do some cool things here at the house while I was here. I got to feed Blake a bottle and feed him some baby food. Baby Blake can be one messy little buddy. Gandalf has been a very good kitty cat. The only thing he did was escape from the living room into the garage. I lured him back in quickly.
I had some time to catch up on my DVR while Kelly was picking up Ben from preschool. I got to watch Blake and play with him. The one thing I didn't do for him was make a ba-ba for him. I made Ben's sippy cup of milk right before he walked in the door. I can only hope that Ben did not try to escape from the ROGUE or mess anything up in the front seat of the car.
Off to work I went once 1:40PM rolled around. I had to endure yet another warm ride inside my car on the way to the station. I deployed a sure fire trick to stay warm. I poured some cool water on my head and let some air blow on me. I needed it to get me on my way, on the way to CBS46. Sports and talk radio got me through the ride into work. I grabbed some more goodies once I walked in the building. I had what looked like a mac and cheese cupcake. Once I microwaved it, it fell apart. It tasted good and it got me through the afternoon portion of the shift. My problem (not really a problem) is that I like to eat free food that is perched on top of the counter inside the newsroom. I have no self-control sometimes. That could be a health issue for me down the road.
