Ad Art #12 for 2016

Distant Video Replay of 2016 #26: Bryan Adams - One Night Love Affair (Live) (1985)

On a personal note, I heard this song for the first time in the 1985 comedy "Real Genius."

I think that is one of the more underrated comedies not only of the 80's, but of all time.  Here's "One Night Love Affair."

Ben and Blake play in the kiddie pool (July 10, 2016)

An addendum for late July 2016

Now I know what I forgot what happened at the real end of July.  I forgot that I took my whole family to the Georgia Aquarium.    We all get ready for an early breakfast, and then we make the 30 mile trek to Downtown Atlanta for the aquarium.  Ben will make his 2nd trip there while baby Blake makes his first stop there.  I'll make my 6th trip or so to the beautiful facility.  This should be a fun family affair.

Ben and Blake were dressed for the occasion, but I don't think they were too interested in what was happening.  Ben wanted to run around the aquarium and he wasn't too interested in all the exhibits.  Ben even wanted to try to go potty.  I couldn't get him to go, buy my wife succeeded in that category.

Blake was trying to take it all in while he was in the stroller.  I saw that Ben had a glimmer in his eye when he saw the orange jellyfish in one of the display cases.  I think we were all getting crowded in the aquarium around 1PM.  After a while, we decided to leave and head home.

Before we went home, we decided to let Ben play on the playground near centennial Olympic Park.  We thought it was a good idea.  In the end, it was a good idea.  I didn't want to end our time in Downtown Atlanta, especially the Georgia Aquarium, on a down note.  So the trip to the playground and the Olympic Rings splash pad was the way to go.

Ben really wanted to swing.  I mean he really wanted to swing.  I felt so bad that I couldn't find one for him to go on.  So we had to make do with him running around the enclosed portion of the playground and making his way toward the slide.  I always get nervous that he is in danger of hurting himself and that I won't be able to catch him when he falls.  I have to learn how to let go and let him be a fun boy.

Later on, we went out to the Olympic Rings and got wet.  Ben and Blake had a great time out there.  I think I remembered to put on their sun screen so they wouldn't get burned.  I had fun getting wet too.  I really needed it to cool off and feel better.  I don't get around to a pool or a watering hole very often.  I need to take my family out to the splash pad more and more.  After a while, we were all pretty tired and ready to go back home.  Both the boys were good in sleeping in the car up I-75 towards our home.

When my boys sleep after a long day, I know that they had a really good time along the way.

This does it for the month of July.  Come August, I will have something to write about.
