Dreaming of some exciting playoffs

I've been following some of the NBA and NHL Playoffs.  To give the NHL the proper respect it deserves, I will call its postseason the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

I think that the Stanley Cup playoffs are more compelling than its NBA Counterpart.  Here's why.

You can't really put a finger on who will win the Stanley cup as of this writing.  Over in the NBA, everybody knows that the Miami Heat will be parading down Biscayne Boulevard after winning its 3rd NBA title in a row.

I can only dream that my B team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, can steal the Heat's Thunder (No Pun Intended).

The Heat are playing out of their minds right now, tearing up the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals and everyone else that has been in their path so far.

The Charlotte Bobcats were no match for the Heat, and the Brooklyn Nets have been a token opposition by taking the Heat to a whopping 5 games.

Back to the ice, all it takes is one hot goalie to carry you through the playoffs.  That's all it takes despite having the best 20+ position players that have the potential to shoot the puck.

The Heat have the big 3 in LeBron, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh.  Which of the remaining NHL and NBA teams have a big 3?  Maybe the Spurs and Thunder.

If you want drama, tune into the Stanley Cup Playoffs to see who will hoist Lord Stanley's Cup over their heads.  If you want an easy ride, just watch the Miami Heat dominate the postseason one more time.

I can only dream that the Thunder will spoil the party.
