Dreaming of a yummy, maybe healthy, Thanksgiving

I know going into Thanksgiving day that my "diet" will be shot.  All intentions of healthy eating and being good to myself will be derailed by the abundance of tasty food in front of me.

I might have some choice goodies to pick from when I'm at work in the early morning hours.  Last year, I had biscuits and eggs along with coffee and juice.  When I get home, my wife will create an abundance of delicious food.  I intend to eat a little of everything she makes.  This year, I will try not to overdo it.

Turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, macaroni and cheese, squash casserole, green beans, and maybe a ham will be at our table that day.  The only thing I would overeat on would be mashed potatoes with gravy.  Everything else I can take to work with me for the next week.

For our family feast, I would like to add some shrimp cocktail, pecan pie, and hash brown casserole.  Now I want to add some chips, pizza, and Chinese food to our family feast.

My goal is to eat enough to where I don't get full.  My worst fear (or nightmare) is that my stomach will hurt so bad I will get way too full (or cruise full as I called it back in 2010).

The week after Thanksgiving, I promise that I will do better and eat healthier.  I have at least three reasons to be better (Kelly, Ben, and Blake).
