It was a tough night overnight for all of us. Blake was very fussy and he kept us awake for a while late last night.
Of course, I did it to myself too. I stayed up to watch TV until after 1AM. I need to stop doing that for the good of my family.
What I'm trying to achieve is watching recorded programs on my DirecTV DVR and also getting rid of some of the shows that I haven't watched and probably won't be able to watch anytime soon.
When I woke up this morning, it was my little Ben serving as my alarm clock. His screaming and excessive whining got me out of bed. I don't know what made him angry. I just don't get it with Ben sometimes. Let me tell you that the terrible two's are real. I've seen it first hand.
At the end of the day, no matter what he does or how he serves his "time out", I love him.
I loved picking up Ben from preschool and getting him back home. I got to see the results of what Ben did in preschool earlier today.
It was tough and challenging due to the high volume of editing I had to do today, but I pulled it off. I was able to edit a SPORTS TOP 5 segment today instead of the usual Wednesday. You'll see it in one of my previous blog posts. I think it was good. Fred Kalil liked it.
I've eaten too many yummies from working Super Tuesday/SEC Primary coverage for CBS46. I've spent more time watching CNN's coverage of the Republican and Democratic primaries.
I'm trying to get by without coffee for the final hour and change tonight. I'm still feeling the "full" effects of eating a big meal supplied to the newsroom by Moe's BBQ (and the station too). My favorites were the pulled pork sandwich with pickles and macaroni and cheese.
I need this FX episode of "The People vs. O.J." to end so that I can finish my blog.
I give up for tonight. I'll be back tomorrow.
