Dreams come true; my Suns trade Markieff Morris

In the world of some sports trades, there is such a thing as addition by subtraction.  In this case, My Phoenix Suns achieved exactly that.

The Phoenix Suns successfully executed a trade that sent the malcontent Morris to the Washington Wizards for fringe players DeJuan Blair, Kris Humphries, and a first-round draft pick.

To be honest, it didn't really matter who the Suns got for Morris.  A bag of balls and some sand would do.  They had to get rid of the coach-killer off our roster, and they did.

Here's the 'worst' of Markieff Morris from parts of the 2014-2015 season:

And here's more dirty play from Markieff:

And here's Markieff hitting a teammate last week:

He's not exactly who I ever wanted on my team.

When he went public in wanting a one-way ticket out of Phoenix (especially when the Suns traded his twin brother Marcus), they should have done it immediately.  Oh well, you know what they say, better late than never.

The good news now is that he's no longer a Sun anymore and we won't have him hanging over our heads during the offseason.  We will have a fresh change and a fresh start for 2016-2017.

His last two acts are a fitting end for him as a Phoenix Sun:

Hopefully Markieff Morris will be but a bump in the road for the Suns to rise once again.
